Custom Aline Orthotics
Although patients have heard of Dr. Scholls and Foot Levelers orthotics most people have never heard of the Aline Orthotic brand. Here is the difference between the Aline orthotic and the other two: Dr. Scholls can be done at most pharmacies like Walgreens or Rite Aid. They have an individual step on a scale that measures how much pressure being put on each side of the feet. Determined by the measurements the scanner reads on the feet, it will recommend which orthotic to buy and which be inserted into the shoes that day. Foot Levelers is the same process, the only difference being that they are custom molded to the feet and are very expensive.
The Aline Orthotic on the other hand has one step on a platform as if measuring the feet to figure out what shoe size to buy. Rather than checking how much pressure is put on the feet, it checks the biomechanical structure of how one stands, visually using lasers that line from the feet up to the hips. The purpose of the Aline Orthotic is to remove any unnecessary foot rotation, which will further remove any unnecessary rotation and pain to the knees, hips, low back and even the neck.
We currently sell three different Aline Orthotic brands. Red is used for the average joe. Yellow is used for individuals who have higher activity levels, such as athletes and runners. Green is used specifically for golfers of all levels. Since bringing on Aline, we have never had one person express dissatisfaction with them. In fact, most buyers continue to purchase more when they wear out! Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about our Aline Orthotics.
